aka Herbal Teas
Albeit, incorrect.
To be called a tea, it must be made from the leaves and buds of Camellia Sinensis (the tea plant).
Tisanes are made from the roots, stems, and leaves of just about any other type of plant (think chamomile, blueberry, hibiscus, jasmine, ginger, mint, etc.) So, technically speaking, the term “herbal tea” is incorrect.
