Georgian Teas & Tisanes

The Tea Nobody Knows

You probably didn’t even know they grew tea in the Republic of Georgia. Don’t feel badly. You wouldn’t be the only one.

Even if you did know about Georgian tea, you likely didn’t think very highly of it. That’s because the “quantity-over-quality” production methods imposed during Georgia’s Soviet era gave their tea a well-deserved bad rap.

However, since the collapse of the Soviet Union and thanks to the tireless efforts of people like Shota and George Bitadze, that is changing. Their creation of GOTPA (the Georgian Organic Tea Producers Association) is leading the charge to return Georgian tea to its former international, award-winning glory on the world tea stage.

And. . . it’s working! It’s why Chai House has teamed up with GOTPA to be their exclusive U.S. importer.

So, here’s your chance to be a trend-setter and impress your friends by introducing them to some of the highest quality and best tasting tea on the planet. Chances are they’ve never heard of Georgian tea, either.

Gaumarjos! (That’s Georgian for, “To All, the Victory”).
